Work of the Environmental Group of our school

This year we are working on a project with the title:
"Once Upon a Time There Was... WATER"
Our village is situated between two rivers. Axios and Loudias.
Watching at them we wonder
"Is this the river we want?"
NO!
NO!
Is this the river we want to inherit to next generations?
NO!
Is there anything we can do so that the situation will improve?
We have to have faith.
So we started work!

16th April - Loudias River

We visited Loudias River, which lies next to our village.
We took sample water and tested .
Our teachers took the pictures we are sharing with you.
We tested the river water to see how polluted it is.

And we had all sorts of activities.
Games by the river bank.
Treasure hunt.
We enjoyed a lot!
And then...
The ropes...

The river we love!

The Coordinator of our Environmental Project, Ms. Melpomeni Kousi.

And our teacher Mr. Panagiotis Dangopoulos.
Of course we had more style!!!

Hope we will visit the river again.

As representatives of our school we visited the Invironmental Education Center of Giannitsa, to talk and learn what we can do to preserve our invironment. When back to school we will share our experience and knowledge with our fellow students.

With our teachers
Giannitsa is a small city near our village Chalkidona.
We were told a lot of interesting and educational things
